How to get a short .gg domain

The short answer: hand-register if your word is somehow still free, buy or lease-to-own on the aftermarket, bend the name with a modifier — or take the same read as a domain hack. Which route is realistic depends entirely on how contested your word is.

Why short .gg names are gone

Gaming adopted .gg years ago — "GG" as in "good game" — and with it came Discord links, esports orgs, streaming tools and thousands of indie games. Dictionary words, common names and 3–4 letter strings were registered long ago. What's left at the registrar is either long, awkward, or both.

Route 1: hand-register
